PROPERTY OWNERS AND EMPLOYERS
The new marijuana laws in Nevada do not prevent certain individuals and entities from restricting recreational marijuana activity in some situations.
Property owners
Under the new law, a private property owner is not prohibited from restricting the smoking, cultivation, processing, manufacture, sale, delivery, or transfer of marijuana on their property.
Employers
Under the new law, a public or private employer is not prohibited from maintaining, enacting, and enforcing a workplace policy prohibiting or restricting actions or conduct otherwise permitted under the Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act.
